Deserted is an album almost entirely of Mammal' more minimal song writing. Electronic electronic structures do sneak into the mix at times in support of the driving tempos. A kind of American Death/Life Rock, at times ponderous, grim and religious. A stark stripped down rock 'n roll in a category all its own
